Capstan helps you prepare for transition,
execute the plan, control the process and successfully close the
program, on time and on budget.
Our approach to
transition planning starts with formation of a Program Management
Office (PMO). We identify team leaders by function and key
stakeholders, and then communicate the PMO concept to them through a
Project Charter.
Client teams are formed to support the
transition including functional teams for facilities, projects,
transactions, portfolio administration, support teams for technology,
accounting, sourcing and human resources and management teams for
communications, legal, governance and bargaining unit interface.
Using
models supplied by Capstan, your team completes plans for its function,
sets documentation and communication standards and establishes risk
management plans, change controls and escalation processes. Detailed
weekly schedules and formats for project status meetings are agreed
with CRE management and the service provider.
During transition,
we facilitate weekly PMO status meetings with each project team to
report on program status and escalate and resolve issues that pose
risks to the program goals and schedules. We monitor and manage all
scope, cost and schedule changes, reviews of issues with the service
provider team, and track progress versus commitments made in the
contract.
Finally, we close out the program by documenting the
final completion of all deliverables, conducting lessons learned
sessions, updating evaluation matrices and closing and archiving
records.
