Paul has managed well over 500 engagements in his career as a real estate consultant, advising both corporate real estate and investor clients on portfolio strategy, transactions and restructurings, organization design and operations improvement.
Prior to Capstan, Paul was the President of Real Estate Consulting Solutions, a firm specializing in CRE advisory services. Previously, he was the Partner-in-Charge of KPMG’s Western Region and National Corporate Real Estate Consulting practices. During his 22 years at KPMG, he consulted on real estate development, investment and operations for both private and public sector clients in North America and Asia.
Paul has an MBA from the Tuck School at Dartmouth College and passed both the California CPA and American Society of Appraisers exams. He has served on the Board of Directors of Lodgian, a public hotel company, and 211 Los Angeles
John has managed global outsourcing processes for both facilities management and transaction services and is an expert in contract negotiations and contract governance training programs.
Prior to joining Capstan, John was the Executive Managing Director of Corporate Solutions for CB Richard Ellis, where he negotiated over 200 million square feet of outsourcing contracts and managed over 1,000 Corporate Solutions professionals delivering transaction, project and facilities management services. Prior to CBRE, John was a Senior Vice President of California Corporate Real Estate for Bank of America for over 20 years, where he managed 22 million square feet of space.
He is a founding Board Member of CoreNet Global, a former Chairman of the Board at NACORE, a former President of the Institute for Corporate Real Estate and a licensed architect. John holds a Bachelors of Architecture degree from the University of Southern California. He currently serves on the Planning Commission in San Dimas, California.
As a senior CRE executive for over 20 years, Kent has a broad knowledge of corporate real estate, and deep expertise in project management, program management and workplace strategy.
Prior to joining Capstan, Kent was the Senior Vice President in Charge of Corporate Properties at Washington Mutual Bank, where he managed over 250 real estate professionals and 3,000 properties with 25 million square feet of space. He was also the project leader on the bank’s one million square foot downtown headquarters campus development project completed in 2006.
Kent is a past board member of CoreNet Global and President of CoreNet Global in Washington. He earned an MCR designation (Masters of Corporate Real Estate), a CPA license in Washington and an MBA from the University of Washington.
Since joining Capstan in 2008, Sherri has managed outsourcing processes for a wide variety of clients and led Capstan’s transition assistance and governance practice.
Prior to Capstan, Sherri was a chief financial officer, portfolio strategist and management consultant. For five years, Sherri was the CFO of CoreNet Global and served on the Global Finance Committee. Prior to CoreNet, she led regional consulting practices as an Executive Managing Director at Jones Lang LaSalle and CB Richard Ellis providing strategic planning, organization design and site selection services in the Southeast.
Sherri is a faculty member in CoreNet’s Master of Corporate Real Estate (MCR) program, earning the Outstanding Faculty award three times, and is often invited to speak on panels at industry events. She has her CPA license in California, earned her Executive MBA from UCLA in International Management and Finance, and earned the CoreNet MCR accreditation.
